Nicole Flynn, LCSW

Trauma & EMDR Specialist

About Me & My Experience:

I bring over a decade of specialized clinical experience spanning community mental health, psychiatric care, and trauma recovery programs. My work has supported survivors of violence and individuals navigating CPTSD, complex grief, and early developmental trauma. I currently serve as a psychotherapist within the California Victims of Crime program.

Alongside my individual therapy practice, I also developed and facilitate an 8-week group program for women recovering from sexual trauma. Offered quarterly, the group integrates EMDR, somatic interventions, and parts work in a structured progression designed to build regulation, resilience, and self-compassion.

I hold a Master of Social Work from California State University, Northridge, and a BA in Sociology. I am currently advancing toward EMDRIA certification as an EMDR therapist. My clinical work specializes in helping adults navigate the lasting impacts of developmental and childhood trauma, with a focus on building nervous system resilience and deepening self-compassion.
