Trauma & EMDR Specialist

About Me & My Experience:

I’m a trauma therapist with over ten years of experience helping people heal from painful experiences and reconnect with themselves. My work focuses on adults navigating the lasting effects of childhood trauma, abuse, and neglect.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we work to calm the nervous system, process what’s been held inside, and build a sense of safety and self-trust that feels real and lasting.

Alongside my individual work, I facilitate an eight-week therapy group for women healing from sexual trauma. The group integrates EMDR, somatic tools, and gentle parts work to support regulation, resilience, and connection.

I’m a Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant-in-Training (CIT) through EMDRIA, providing both therapy and professional consultation to other clinicians seeking to deepen their trauma-focused work. I’m also an approved provider with the California Victims of Crime (CalVCB) program, offering therapy for survivors receiving support through this resource.

I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Northridge. Before starting my private practice, I worked in community mental health and trauma recovery programs supporting survivors of violence and complex trauma. My approach is warm, attuned, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection—both with ourselves and with others.
