Nicole Flynn, LCSW

Trauma & EMDR Specialist

I am a trauma and Certified EMDR therapist in Los Angeles. I work with adults healing from childhood trauma, sexual abuse, neglect, attachment wounds, and dissociation, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). I also support anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and the lasting impact of trauma.

My approach is gentle and paced for safety. I use EMDR, somatic therapy, and parts-based work to help your nervous system feel safer over time. Symptoms like anxiety, shutdown, body memories, or dissociation are not flaws. They are protective responses. In therapy, we work to understand them with care, not push them away.

Together, we focus on both emotions and the body. Over time, this can help you feel more regulated, more connected, and more like yourself.

I also lead an eight-week therapy group for women healing from sexual trauma.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Northridge, and have over ten years of experience in trauma recovery. My style is warm, grounded, and attuned. Healing happens through safe connection.
