Nicole Flynn, LCSW

I’m Nicole Flynn, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified EMDR therapist, EMDR Consultant-in-Training, and group facilitator in Los Angeles.

For over ten years, I’ve worked with survivors of sexual trauma, childhood abuse, interpersonal violence, and crime-related trauma. That experience has shaped the way I practice and deepened my understanding of how early experiences can affect the body, relationships, and sense of self.

My clinical work is grounded in EMDR, somatic therapy, and parts work. I care a lot about pacing because deeper trauma work is most effective when there is enough safety, trust, and connection to support it.

My style is warm, engaged, and nonjudgmental. I’m not a blank-screen therapist. I ask questions, notice patterns, and help people make connections, while also paying attention to when something feels like too much or needs to slow down.

Along with individual therapy, I lead an eight-week therapy group for women healing from sexual trauma. I also provide consultation for therapists who want support with complex cases, dissociation, and integrating EMDR into their work.

I have a Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Northridge, and advanced training in somatic therapy, parts work, dissociation, attachment-focused care, and trauma-focused treatment.
